Born and raised in California, Dr. Patel is a graduate of UCLA where she majored in Biology. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from DePaul University in Chicago before earning her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University. She completed her residency at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. She is board certified and has been in private practice in Raleigh, NC since 2024.
