Please arrive promptly at our office 1 hour prior to the scheduled procedure time. You can plan on your appointment lasting 2 – 3 hours. This includes pre-op preparation, the actual procedure, and recovery time.
You will check in at the front desk of Kamm, McKenzie OB/GYN, which is located on the 2nd floor of 10880 Durant Road, Suite 224.
Please arrange for an adult to accompany you to the office and drive you home after your procedure.
Your driver will be required to stay at the facility during your procedure.
You will not be permitted to drive for the remainder of the day.
Please do not bring children to the appointment.
We will perform a urine pregnancy test upon your arrival. This is a standard precaution which will be performed on all surgical patients.

It is the patient’s responsibility to make sure we have your current insurance information so that your surgery can be authorized and benefits can be verified. Please check your coverage for benefits, second opinion requirements and /or needed referrals. Our staff will also contact your insurance company for benefit verification of our charges. We will notify you of your estimated out of pocket expense, as quoted by your insurance company. Please come prepared to pay that amount on the day of your procedure.
There will be an additional charge for anesthesia. The anesthesia group will file a claim for their services and will bill you for any out of pocket expense. They may be reached at 1-888-831-1942. If you wish to check your insurance benefits for these services, the billing CPT code is 00952 and the estimated time of the procedure is 40-60 minutes.
