Kamm McKenzie OBGYN is proud to offer minor surgical procedures in the comfort and convenience of our Durant Road office. We have teamed up with a group of anesthesiologists who are able to provide you with hospital-quality anesthesia care in our familiar environment. This enables our patients to be completely sedated and comfortable during our in-office procedures.
In-office procedures have many benefits, including being convenient, time-efficient, and for most patients, less costly than an out-patient surgery performed at the hospital. Insurance coverage varies by company and type of plan, but many patients only have an office co-pay for these procedures. For nearly all patients, an in-office procedure is far less expensive than hospital-based out-patient surgery.

Not all patients are candidates to have surgery done in the office. Ideal candidates have a BMI (body mass index) of less than 35 and no poorly controlled major medical illnesses. Depending on your health history and surgical needs, your provider will advise you regarding the safest location to perform your desired procedure.
